8th Grade Dance '25

When: Thursday, April 17th 2025 6pm-9:30pm Where: Marsh Landing Country Club, 25655 Marsh Landing Parkway Attire: Semi Formal – must adhere to dress code (below) Food will be provided. To attend, students will meet the following behavior expectations and dress code (see below). Tickets are non-refundable Basic Dance Rules: • Only currently enrolled 8th Grade Landrum students may attend. • All students must sign agreeing to abide by the dance dress code as a criterion for participation. Student Dress Code: • Clothing must cover areas from one armpit to the other armpit, down to the mid-thigh. Tops must have shoulder straps and be long enough to adequately cover the waistline and not expose the midriff. • Spaghetti Straps are allowed. • Semi-formal dresses are appropriate. • See-through or mesh garments must be worn with opaque clothing over it or underneath that meets the standard for clothing coverage. Undergarments must not be visible. • No denim of any color is permitted. • Dress pants are acceptable. • Dress shirts are acceptable. • Ties are optional. • Polo-like shirts (with collar) are appropriate. • Students must wear shoes that have a back or strap on the heel. Sandals with a back/strap and dress shoes are acceptable. Behavior Criteria- The following behavior conditions established for GradVenture also apply to the 8th Grade Dance. There will be NO REFUNDS for tickets. School Administration reserves the right to review and make the final determination for any student’s eligibility to attend the dance. To attend, you must meet the following behavior conditions (beginning December 1st. 1. Students must be passing ALL subjects for the year 2. Students must not have any out-of-school suspensions from December 1st through the day of the dance. 3. Students must not have more than two cumulative days of ISS from December 1st through the day of the dance. 4. Students must not have more than 15 unexcused absences for the entire year.
