Wanna get away…

Dear Parents,
The early alarms are back. Homework has returned. Routines are routine-ing.
While we all love a good vacation countdown, attendance remains one of the biggest factors in student success. Being in school every day helps students stay connected to learning, build relationships with teachers and peers, and develop habits that will serve them throughout life.
Before planning your next adventure, check out our Recommended Travel Windows so students can enjoy time away without missing valuable instructional time.
Every day in school is an opportunity to:
📚 Learn
🌱 Grow

Attendance Form in ParentSquare

Exciting Update to Student Attendance Reporting!

To make attendance reporting easier and more efficient for families, all attendance notes must now be submitted exclusively through the Attendance Form in ParentSquare. This streamlined process helps ensure absences are reported quickly, accurately, and securely.

Why Attendance Matters…regular school attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success. Being present each day helps students stay engaged in learning, build strong relationships with teachers and peers, and avoid falling behind academically. Every school day counts, and we appreciate families partnering with us to make attendance a priority.

Accessing the Attendance Form is Easy through the ParentSquare app via the Attendance Form link on the LMS website

Important Attendance Reminders:

  • Parents/guardians should submit attendance notes through ParentSquare for all absences and tardies.
  • Notes should be submitted within 48 hours of the student’s return to school.
  • Excused absences may include illness, medical appointments, religious holidays, court appearances, family bereavement, and certain school-related events.
  • A provider’s note is required for medical appointments and may be required for illness-related absences after 15 days of absence.
  • Consistent attendance supports academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and positive school experiences.
  • Excessive unexcused absences may result in truancy intervention.

Thank you for partnering with us to support student success. By ensuring your child attends school regularly and submitting attendance documentation through the ParentSquare Attendance Form, you help us create the best possible learning environment for every student.
