This production is truly student-made from start to finish! Beyond the outstanding performances on stage, the set, costume, and lighting designs were all created by Ms. Baker’s 6th Period Theatre II & III students.
 
LMS is incredibly proud of the dedication, creativity, and hard work our Theatre students have invested in every aspect of this show. We hope you’ll join us and support these talented students as they bring their vision to life!

ALIENATED – The Show

Seventeen-year old Cammie gathers 24 members of her high school senior class at school one evening to solve the mystery of a bright light that appears on this precise day once every six years.  Cammie’s uncle always believed that one of these students is an alien and that the light is a form of communication.  Knowing the beacon will shine in just a few minutes, Cammie is bound and determined to identify the alien among them.  Could it be the diva?  The jock?  The slacker?  The clumsy band geek?  As they all point fingers at one another, it seems each is both the accuser and the accused.  No doubt, everyone has something weird to hide.  Are these strange and unique characteristics truly alien or just part of being a teenager?  The surprise ending will leave you with goosebumps in this delightful, well-written character piece.

Landrum Theatre Booster Club

The countdown to the launch of the Landrum Theatre Booster Club has begun!
 
We are seeking enthusiastic parents, family members, and community supporters who are interested in helping establish our very first Theatre Booster Club. This organization will play a vital role in supporting our students, enhancing our productions, and creating new opportunities for our growing theatre program.
 
Our informational kickoff meeting will be held on October 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium. While several wonderful parents have already stepped forward to help, we are looking for additional volunteers and supporters to help turn this vision into a reality.
 
We look forward to formally introducing the Booster Club during our fall production, October 15-17, and inviting interested individuals to become founding members of this exciting new organization.
 
Our goal is ambitious but achievable: to establish the Booster Club and begin the process of obtaining nonprofit status by the end of the school year. This will allow the organization to support our spring production and future theatre initiatives. (The title of our spring show will be announced as soon as performance rights are secured!)
 
Whether you have experience in fundraising, event planning, business, marketing, hospitality, or simply a passion for supporting student theatre, there is a place for you in this organization.
